Digital Paintings

More often than not people are looking to take perfect photographs of themselves, though, the human body has its ups and downs and inevitably we are bound to be flawed. But, through the magic of digital art, that can be changed. Through Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop I was able to use photographs I had taken and turn them into digital paintings.

First I started by taking well-lit, strongly composed portraits, then I put them into Illustrator and used the pen tool to outline each shape and line, coloring them in as I went. Finally, I put the pen-drawn pieces into photoshop and overlayed them with a watercolor filter. This finalized my compositions and turned art into a new type of art.
